SCENTED BL ACK TEA S
Like tea itself, flavouring − or as they say in the motherland of tea,
“scenting” − has its origins in China. It was noticed that processed
tea leaves easily take on the scents of their surroundings and the
resulting teas were very popular with tea drinkers. This is how rose
tea and also jasmine tea came into being. To this day, for example,
freshly picked jasmine blossoms are added to the tea leaves
and give off their characteristic, delicate fragrance. The flowers
and petals are then removed again and this process is repeated
until the fragrance and flavour have reached the desired intensity.
Very often, the last batch of flowers is also left in the tea for an
attractive appearance.

Smoked Tea
– Black Tea –
For a smoked tea, the stronger and larger
leaves are harvested from the lower areas of the tea bush. Smoking over precious
woods gives the tea leaves a very intense,
strong smoky flavour. In order to be able
to offer you a pleasant-tasting tea with
a not too dominant smoky note, our tea
tasters have developed this house blend.
Classic black teas are delicately combined
with the pure smoked tea. The result is
a still distinctly smoky flavour with an
underlying subtle sweetness.
Ingredients: black tea, smoke
